Day 1: Cochin

On arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway station you will be received and transferred to the hotel. On arrival check in to the hotel and relax. Afternoon do the sightseeing visiting St.Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets etc during trip to Kerala. Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (140kms/4 hrs drive)

Today Kerala trip drive to Munnar one of the most popular hill stations in India. Onarrival at Munnar check into the resort and relax. Evening walk around the Hill station and overnight stay at resort in Munnar

Day 3: Munnar

Today sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Rajamala – the highest peak in Munnar, Eravikulam National Park,Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam and Eco – point during Kerala trip packages. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar

Day 4:Munnar – Thekkady (120kms/ 3.5hrs drive)

Today Kerala trip drive to Thekkady known as the Lord of the Jungles. On arrival check in to the resort and relax. In the afternoon you have the option for elephant ride, boat ride and spice plantation tour. Overnight stay at hotel in Thekkady

Day 5:Thekkady

Day free for your own activities. Option for jungle trekking, jeep safari etc.Overnight stay at hotel in Thekkady

Day 6:Thekkady – Kumarakom (130kms/ 3.5hrs drive)

Check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom which is surrounded by backwaters. On arrival check into the resort and relax and you have the option for Ayurveda massage here during trip to Kerala. Overnight stay at hotel in Kumarakom

Day 7:Kumarakom – Alleppey (45kms/ 1 hrs drive)

Morning drive to Alleppey and board your house boat at 12:00noon at Alleppey Jetty. Overnight stay at Air - Conditioned Deluxe Houseboat (A/C will be function in the bedroom from 09.00pm to 06.00am only)

Day 8: Alleppey– Cochin departure (90kms/2 hrs drive)

Today disembark the houseboat at Alleppey by 9.30AM and later as per your departure schedule you will be transferred to Cochin Airport/ Railway station for your onward journey to back home.

Cochin

Cochin known as the “Queen of Arabian Sea” is a city tucked in the beauty of coconut palms and endless blue waters and it is the commercial hub of Kerala. Fort Cochin is a historical area in the Cochin town. Dutch Palace or Mattancherry Palace (built by the Portuguese, and presented to the Raja of Cochin in 1555. The glory of the Palace lies in the murals which are in the best traditions of Hindu Temple Art) Jewish Synagogue (built in 1568 A.D stands out as a testimony for the communal harmony in the state for centuries. The Great Scrolls of Old Testament and a number of copper plates inscribed in the Hebrew Script are preserved in this Synagogue) St. Francis Church (built by the Portuguese and believed to be the oldest European Church built in India. Vasco - da - gama was buried here) and Chinese Fishing Nets - a mechanical method of catching fish by local fishermen in Fort Kochi are the main sight seeing attraction.

Munnar

Munnar is one of the most idyllic tourist destinations in Kerala. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the British rulers in the colonial days. An unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, and the aroma of spice scented cool air, Munnar has all these and more.

Rajamala – The natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr. Eravikulam National park – the home of Nilgiri Tahr. Mattupetty Lake and Dam is a very beautiful picnic spot. Echo point – The scenic place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon. And Kundale Dam – It's a picturesque on the way to Top station. The Golf Course, The Kundala Artificial dam is another attraction.

Periyar

Periyar also known as Thekkady is the Lord of Jungles. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary’ – Lying close to the plantations, in the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the fascinating natural wildlife reserves. It’s spread across 777 sq. km, of which 360 sq. km is thick evergreen forest. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat in the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however, is the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake.

Kumarakom

Kumarakom – a beautiful backwater destination is renowned for its famous bird sanctuary on the banks of Vembanad Lake, along the backwaters of Kerala. Backwaters are a unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and rivers, which forms an integral part of Kerala's tourism scenario. Kumarakom is well known for its varied avian population. Migratory birds can be seen in the season and it is an ideal place for Ayurverda.

Alleppey

Alleppey – known as the "Venice of the East" is one of the most important tourist centers in the state, with a large network of inland canals and lagoons. Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams and canals with lush green coconut palms, was located in the district of Alleppey. Here the main attraction is houseboat and a stay in the houseboat will give a thrilling experience in the backwaters. During the cruise one can see the daily life of village people, old temples and churches etc.
