Delhi
India’s Capital, Delhi, is the transport hub of Northern India and home to over 14 million people. It is a great experience to visit this fabulous city. From ancient temples, glitzy restaurants with delicious foods, stylish neighborhoods and the history filled monuments make this city a visitor’s eyes delight. This city was built and ruined seven times, through this Delhi had witnessed various events which has brought our Incredible country India through many records. The International airport situated in the western corner makes Delhi as one of the busiest airports in South Asia. The street foods are largely famous and delicious. Shopping is equally famous in Delhi which has a century-old shopping area, very famous for jewellery and Zari Sarees.
Agra
Agra is synonymous with the Taj - one of the seven wonders of the world. The city today has two distinct sections - tourist and commercial. The former centered around the Taj and other monuments, the latter enclosing the enlargements emanating from industrial and commercial activity in present times. Therefore, there are two downtown areas to look at, depending on your interest.
Bharatpur
The place was named as Bharatpur after the name of Bharat, the brother of Lord Rama, whose other brother Laxman was worshipped as the family deity of the Bharatpur. The legends say the rulers Laxman's name is engraved on the state arms and the seals. Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the most spectacular bird sanctuaries in India, nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and water side birds. It is also inhabited by sambar, chital, nilgai and boar. More than 300 species of birds are found in this small park of 29 sq. km. of which 11 sq. km. are marshes and the rest scrubland and grassland. Keoladeo, the name derives from an ancient Hindu temple, devoted to Lord Shiva, which stands at the centre of the park.
Ranthambore
Ranthambore is near to the town of Sawai Madhopur, midway between Bharatpur and Kota townships. It is surrounded by the Vindhya and Aravali hill ranges and is very near to the outer fringes of the Thar Desert. The forest is the typically dry deciduous type, with dhok, being the most prominent tree. The entry point to the Ranthambore National Park, goes straight to the foot of the fort and the forest rest house, Jogi Mahal. The latter boasts of the second-largest banyan tree in India. The Padam Talab, the Raj Bagh Talab and the Malik Talab are some of the lakes in the area, that attract the tiger population. They have been spotted at the edges of these lakes, and Jogi Mahal itself. Old crumbling walls, ruined pavilions, wells, and other ancient structures stand witness to the region's glorious past. More than in any other park or sanctuary in India, tigers are easily spotted here in daylight. They can be seen lolling around lazily in the sun, or feverishly hunting down Sambar around the lakes.
Jaipur
Jaipur the pink city today sports all hues and shades of the spectrum. That's for no other reason but that it has grown far beyond its original size and age, presenting a modern visage - multi-storeyed apartment-blocks, shopping malls, chic boutiques, discotheques, multiplex and all.Jaipur has turned in to a fascinating city that throbs with activity from early in the morning till late into the night. The walled city with monuments and bazaars and the newer areas in more verdant, spacious settings offer contrasting vistas of the same city.
